IS IT SPRING YET?

It feels like Spring outside today!  I am in the mood to spritz up my home a bit and have it smelling nice and fresh.  This is a wonderfully smelling lemon and orange blossom natural room spray that is so easy to make.  Try it!  You will LOVE it!!

LEMON AND ORANGE BLOSSOM NATURAL ROOM SPRAY

You'll need:

  • 2 oz water
  • 15 drops Essential oil
  •  5 drops Peppermint oil
  • 10 drops Lemon essential oil

I make this blend in a 2oz colored glass bottle.  The colored glass will help to block the light, as light reduces the shelf life of essential oils. Glass also doesn't release chemicals into your oils the way that plastic might.  I love my beautiful blue glass 2oz bottles that I order through Spark Naturals

You can also order them through:

If you do decide to use a plastic container, make sure it is PET plastic bottles.  They tend to be less expensive and weigh less than glass.  A lot of people like this option due to the breakage factor.  You can read more about this type of plastic here:  PET Plastic.

May your home be fresh-smelling and your day be wonderful!

  1. Your spring room spray recipe is awesome!! Thanks for sharing. Have you tried Infinity Jars? I started using Infinity Jars for my essential oil. The jars have highly advanced ultraviolet glass that preserves and revitalizes my expensive essential oil.

  2. Good Morning, Jessy! The infinity jars look very cool, however, they are a bit pricey. :) They would, however, be very good jars for more expensive essential oils.
