During times of extra stress (sickness, family issues, life in general), I like to offer my body some support and extra nurturing. Essential oil blends in an inhaler can provide that for you by way of inhalation and the limbic system. I love how this inhaler blend relaxes me and helps me to unwind. I only use one drop of Ylang Ylang in this, as too much of this oil can cause headaches in some individuals.  *This blend is for adults only.

To make this blend for children, (over 5 years of age), you would use the following:

  • 3 drops Clary Sage
  • 1 drop Roman Chamomile
  • 3 drops Cedarwood
  • 3 drops Geranium

Using personal inhalers is a very easy way to get the benefits of essential oils.  Andrea over at The Aromahead Blog has written a very easy-to-read and understand blog post about inhalers.  She explains the parts to an inhaler and even has a youtube video showing how it works!

Have Fun "Zen-ning!"
