Focus and Concentrate Inhaler Blend

Focus and Concentration: Two areas that I definitely need help in! Some days, my mind just wants to wander all over the place and I find it hard to zero in on a project and give it my full attention. That's where Rosemary essential oil comes in.  Rosemary essential oil has a powerful, fresh, woody-herbaceous scent that I just love as well as aiding in memory retention and alertness.  And who of us can't use some of that in the morning?!   Think of this blend as "coffee that you can inhale."  :)

Focus and Concentration Inhaler Blend

In a test done by a team of psychologists at Northumbria University, Newcastle, 66 people took part a study to test the effects of essential oils from rosemary and were randomly allocated to either the rosemary-scented room or another room with no scent.  The results showed that participants in the rosemary-scented room performed better on the prospective memory tasks than the participants in the room with no scent and the results from the blood analysis found that significantly greater amounts of 1,8-cineole were present in the plasma of those in the rosemary scented room, suggesting that sniffing the aroma led to higher concentrations.  You can read more about the study HERE.

All I know from personal experience is that if I need to focus and concentrate, I reach for my trusty bottle of Rosemary essential oil.  It hasn't failed me yet!
